Fished Marshmiller from 8:30 am til about 11 this morning, the fish bit, but the quality wasn't there, as they were running kind of small. May have done better if I had got there earlier, but I origianlly drove to my favorite little hole up north, to find an aerator keeping the whole thing open!! Who knows if I will ever be able to fish it again as this spot is about the size of my yard.

It's interesting you mention Marsh Miller. This is my target for this Saturday morning, I think. My expeience has been you have to be there early for a real good bite.
Keep me posted if you go out again.

Went out on this past sunday and caught a fair amount of gills and crappies. All fish were keepers except for a few. Caught one 13 inch crappie but the rest ranged from 8"-10". Boy was it cold to be out in that wind.

Went out on memorial day and hit the crappies really good. A ton of boats out there though. Whenever i started catching fish some boat would troll within 50 ft and start fishing, so if that is any of you... thanks for that. anyway, crappies were hitting good on small twister tails in about 8-10 ft of water, also got checked by the DNR so look out. managed to keep one limit between me and a buddy of crappies 10-12 inches.

Ok, if I were you I would take 53 north to HWY 64 East. Follow 64 until you reach county AA. Take a left. Follow the road 2-3 miles. Take a right at the graveyard. Take a right , right before the road curves off to the left. There might be a sign there that is for the Cedar Inn resort, I don't remember if there is, Anyway this should bring you down to the landing. If I remember right you gotta pay a buck or two to use it. Pay at the bar, bar closed Mondays. Hope this helps!

My brother and I fished Marshmiller last weekend and did very well with crappies using minnows. We caught 42 Saturday, and 36 Sunday

Mike and I went out with the metal detectors today and on the way home decided to stop at Marshmillers. Drove full length of the lake and there was maybe 20 cars at the most. Fisherman must have got froze out too.
